    How Do I Cancel My Extra Space Storage Rental?

    You can cancel your Extra Space Storage unit rental by contacting the facility manager where you rented your storage unit. You may contact the manager verbally or give them written notice. If you want to let your manager know verbally, look up the office hours to reach them in person or by phone.

    What Is Extra Space Storage's Cancellation Policy?

    You must give the facility manager notice verbally 10 days before you move out, or 15 days before you move out with a written notice. On your move-out day, make sure your unit is empty, your lock is removed, and you let your facility's manager inspect the unit.
